Task notifications

When you are assigned a Continuous Monitoring task, and your email notifications are enabled, you will receive email notifications for the following:

• You’ve been assigned a task
• Your task is coming due (one day from due date)
• Your task is coming due (seven days from due date)

See an example email notification below. If you are not receiving email notifications for Continuous Monitoring tasks, double-check that your email notifications are enabled. Note: to avoid spam, Totem will not alert you when you’ve assigned yourself a task. Totem will, however, alert you when that task is coming due. Additionally, Totem will group activity together over 10-minute intervals to avoid spam (e.g., if you are assigned three tasks in a 10-minute period, you will receive one email highlighting the three tasks, not three separate emails).
